Hiking was a bit of an unusual activity for a school like St. Ashmiel's, but some gym classes still insisted and there was enough interest to have a club. As such, for the end-of-year activity, a few classes had voted for a hiking/camping trip to get off-campus for a while, leaving the studying and the worried behind.

Rito was in one such class, and was keeping pace with the group well enough. Everyone was supposed to stay as a group, there was a familiar marked trail and a designated clearing where they could set up their tents. Far enough from civilization to do what kids on break from St Ashmiel's were likely to do, but controlled enough they were unlikely to lose anyone.

Which made it all the more noticeable when Rito cause a flash of bright green from the corner of his eye. Guilty's striking two-tone hair blended in surprisingly well with the trees, but Viper's dirty blonde was much more noticeable as the pair of them wandered off from the trail.

"Steady there. You other half's alright, but you both passed out."

The last think Hiro remembered was struggling to control the canoe he and Zero Two were riding in. Enjoying activities on the lake, decent and otherwise, was a common passtime at St. Ashmiel's when classes weren't happening. But they'd been out when the weather starter to turn, hard. Soon the ran was coming down in great sheets that made it impossible to see shore as the wind pushed them around. Given that neither was a particularly accomplished swimmer, panic had started to set in, until they miraculously found a shoal. Getting the boat ashore and then crawling up out of the waves was enough that they both passed out, even in the freezing rain.

Fortunately they'd been found quickly enough, and right now Hiro was laying on his back with a familiar redhead crouched over him. Although not as sexy as such a scene implied, since it was still raining heavily and her hair was hanging in soaking wet locks. She stood up, giving him a good look at the three women surrounding him. All wearing bikinis - fairly sensible, but still bikinis - which gave him a hell of a view. As well as Milly in her black swimwear, there was a blonde in camo green and an orange-haired woman in a blue pattern. They were both people he might have seen with Milly before; the last one wasn't Joy, though - he could see her face from here, for one.

While this was an extremely fetching view, they were still standing in the howling wind and pouring rain, though these three didn't seem to be freezing right this second at least.

"It was so nice of you to invite us here, Issei♥"

Not that 'here' was very far, but that was kind of the point. Nobody else was in the mansion's barroom tonight, leading to a cozy atmosphere. Something that Tamamo loved having with Issei, though she knew that much intimacy might be a bit much for him - though perhaps not consciously. Either way, he'd invited two others as well.

This might very well have been Dyra and Dithra's first time outside of Shanoa's Hellhold since she found them. While the invitation had been unexpected (nobody was quite sure who, if anyone, gave Issei the idea - though it could have been Miriam, she'd already proven to be quite direct where they were concerned), they'd been coaxed into accepting, and everyone was rather cosy in one of the corner booths right now, having retrieved plenty of drinks from behind the bar to go around.

Look! I remembered to post before December started this year!

Hello, friends! It's about to be December again, and you know what that means: the fact I am posting this actually before December 1 means [staff profile] karzilla reminded me about the existence of linear time again. Wait, no -- well, yes, but also -- okay, look, let me back up and start again: it's almost December, and that means it's time for our annual December holiday points bonus.

The standard explanation: For the entire month of December, all orders made in the Shop of points and paid time, either for you or as a gift for a friend, will have 10% of your completed cart total sent to you in points when you finish the transaction. For instance, if you buy an order of 12 months of paid time for $35 (350 points), you'll get 35 points when the order is complete, to use on a future purchase.

The fine print and much more behind this cut! )

Thank you, in short, for being the best possible users any social media site could possibly ever hope for. I'm probably in danger of crossing the Sappiness Line if I haven't already, but you all make everything worth it.

On behalf of Mark, Jen, Robby, and our team of awesome volunteers, and to each and every one of you, whether you've been with us on this wild ride since the beginning or just signed up last week, I'm wishing you all a very happy set of end-of-year holidays, whichever ones you celebrate, and hoping for all of you that your 2026 is full of kindness, determination, empathy, and a hell of a lot more luck than we've all had lately. Let's go.
