I'm litterally in the middle of class but im going crazy over a song again.Oct 2, 9:51

I don't know how to express my feeling in anyway right now because im kinda meh and I can't express what I wan tusing a simple ball point pen so right now im just writing all my thoughts and I will edit the word vomit later.

I'm listening to scherazade by rimsky korsakov once again and I decided to start the music over again because I just love the first 2 movements again. The start of "The Sea and Sinbad's ship." has such a strong big and powerful beginning then it just trasforms into a really nice quite flute/ picollo thing going on. UGGHHH THE VIOLIN SOLO IS JUST SO MAGESTIC. I LOVE THE HARP the way they just compliment eachother so well. It's like the 2 instruments are fusing their beutiful sounds in to a perfect rythm (IDEK) When all the other instruments joing again they crate the feeling of ballroom lol. Then the suspense starts to build and you understand the ship part. The way the sounds just crchending then decreshendo similar to how the wave go up and down. The small parts where the istruments stand out s like the bumps of the waves and makes me think of the white at the top of a wave. Just the way the rythms moves is so unique and has so much flavor. It's onw back into a quieter sections with the long notes. OMG THE HORN SOLOO AGHH. It reminds me of whales and the ambiance of under the sea. THE DYNAMICS. Oh the violinnsss back with the theme from the beginning. and omg the way the clarinet mirrors it! The cellos have been keeping such a nice pace reapting the simple rythms in the beginning its just awesome. THE WAY YOU CAN JUST HEAR THE HORN PLAYING OVER EVERYTHINGG. All the instruments are playing together and creating such a nice sound together. I don't know how to describe it but It just feels like the ship is oing up and downs through some crazy wave and ughhh I love it so much. The violins are together playing a melody together and its beutiful. All the instruments are together again playing and they just compliment each other so well and wow!! the trumpet part really make- AHHH THE TRMPET JUST HAD SOME CRAZY DYNAMIC CONTRAST FROM UP TO DOWN IT A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME WHWJDSFHJ. THE BASSES ARE GOIGN CRAZYY ON THE ENDING. the build uppp!!! yess quite flute solo againn. ughh I love the oboe so much in sections like this. *chefs kiss* The way the move the melody around the sumphony. The violins play it wonderfully. The woodwinds have such a nice melody right there! The way the mvmnt ends slows my brain and I down from the exciting music before. the last sustain <3

KALENDAR PRINCEEEE
I paused my music rn because this song is how I found out about scheherazade in the first place. I played a simplified version of it in my honors middle school orchestra and it is just AWESOME. The harp & violin duo againnn <3.

YESSSS THE VIOLIN CADENZAA GOES CRAZYYY. BASSOOONNN The articulation really adds so much more than you'd expect in their solo. HARP AND OBOE AHHHH these duos are just so perfect. The way the harp plays the arpeggios in a way that complements the oboe solo so much it's gdriving me crazyyyyy. oh wow the way the violins play that melody is awesome. The staccato to legato sounds really nice and makes me realluy happy. idk what to say the horn + woodwind part is just so niceee. The chellos hits those notes so well!!!! The solo instruments are just so perfect. It's like they are talking to each other. The strong start in thelow instruments is so cool. YESS GET THAT TROMBONE. The mutes trumpet sounds so silly and cool. This part has such a dramatic feeling to it it is kinda of funny. so suspensefull! the way the flutes are kinda droning in the background adds so much without even noticing. Oh the pizz is so cool. The way they play quitely but noticeably under the clarinet solo. wowww the way the soloist speeds up!! The sudden start and play from the trumpet is reall nice. piccolo yesss. The light sounds the slight dinging from the percussion!! all the instruments are building up and now it feels like they are gently running? fast walking? idk. Thecymbals being so quite is so cool lol. There is so much dynamic contrast in the piece that is cool interesting and has so many levels and layers. Oooh yes the pizz in the strings is back. The soloist playing such quick notes and flutes and piccolo responding to it!! I love the bassoon solo so much :)) wow the way they are trading the solo around while the strings are doing a pp vibrato. oh wow the cres up into the melody was smooth!! oh I hear that pizz under the band's playing. The horns play alongside the flutes and piccolo so much its really cool. everyone playing what the soloists played together is so awesome. YESSSS AHH EVERYONE PLAYING TOGETHER and the timpani playing on the beat!! oh wow the quiet and the high notes on the harp!! get it flute ok! horn soloist is backk with such a nice tone and sound. The violin <3 cello bringing everyone back for the finale!! Yess the basses again!! Everyone is going togetherto being the end of the movement :D The final note is just wonderful! The silence from that finale is really wonderful. The sound settling over everyone. I can't wait to see it in person.

My class is about to end so I only got to share the first 2 mvnt thouhghts but they are my favs so whatever. I probably will edit this later so that it is actually readable but whatever.
